DZOM USA 2024

The Design & Development of Zero-Emission Off-Highway Machinery (DZOM USA 2024) conference and expo will be held from December 3 to December 4, 2024. The venue is the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center, located in Rosemont near Chicago. 

The event includes  two collocated education tracks, DZOM and Autonomous Off-Highway MachineryTechnology (AOMT). DZOM focuses on the innovations of designing zero-emission off-highway machinery. AOMT explores the cutting-edge world of autonomous off-highway machinery technology.

DZOM USA 2024 Conference Agenda

The DZOM track features more than 30 senior expert speakers who will address technical insights on electrifying off-highway machines. This includes exploring: 

• The challenges and opportunities of  new technologies
• Advancements in electric, hybrid, and alternative powertrains
• Integrating drives
• Energy management
• The significance of sustainability 

This event will also highlight technological advancements and collaborative efforts aimed at achieving zero-emission goals in the off-highway sector.

Matrishvan Raval, head of product for Turntide, will present on December 3, 2024, at 4:15 p.m. He will speak about the movement of axial flux motors into the mainstream. Raval will cover the benefits of axial flux motors, the importance of high torque and low cogging in off-highway applications, and the equipment and vehicles in which these motors can be used to improve performance and efficiency.
